Check In / Check Out

• In order to ensure your room is ready for you on arrival, we ask for an estimated arrival time to be given with all bookings.  Should you find you will arrive significantly earlier or later than this, a telephone call is appreciated.  The latest check-in time is 10pm without prior arrangement.
• Check-out is usually before 12 noon.  Naturally, we are able to store your luggage until later in the day, in order that you may make the most of your final day in York.

Cancellations / no-show

• To avoid a cancellation charge, bookings no longer required must be cancelled at least 14 days in advance of your arrival date.
• In the event of a no show or a cancellation with less than 14 days notice prior to the date of arrival, an amount equivalent to the full value of the booking will be charged to the credit / debit card used to secure the booking.

SO, if you are going to arrive early or later than expected, PLEASE CALL US; if you need to cancel or amend your booking PLEASE CALL US to minimise any cancellation / no show charges.

Identification

The credit / debit card used to secure the booking should be presented upon arrival.  Non-EU guests will be required to produce their passport or driving license.

Car Parking

Kindly note that parking is on a first-come, first-served basis.  When our private car park is full, there is free on-street parking 2 min walk away.

York is a very safe city.  For your increased peace of mind, our car park benefits from recorded CCTV, including night-vision cameras.  However, we are regrettably unable to take responsibility for cars or anything in them - thus you are advised to ensure you have appropriate insurance.

Children

We are child-friendly, but please contact us regarding any special requirements, (e.g. cots / multiple high chairs.)

Group bookings

We require one person to be personally responsible for the conduct of all guests in the group, and any damage caused. We may require a 'good behavior' bond along with payment in advance.  For the benefit of all our guests, in the event of persons behaving in an inappropriate manner, we reserve the right to immediately cancel the entire booking, without refund.
