Formerly a private residence, all the rooms have been modernised with en-suite shower & WC (no bath.) We have twin, double and family / group rooms. Family / group rooms have at least one double bed and one single bed or bunks. Some family / group rooms can accommodate up to 6 people. Due to the layout of the building, all rooms vary in size and layout - indeed, some of our best rooms are in the 3rd floor attic! Take a look at our photos There is a colour TV and a 'phone / modem point, along with tea & coffee making facilities in each room. Many rooms have DVD players. We offer free wireless internet access & have a computer available for guest use. We offer cheap international phone calls. Towels and complimentary toiletries are provided. Our cellar bar serves a range of drinks in the early evening. These include local beers from the York Brewery such as 'Minster Ale' and a selection of tasty wines. Breakfasts are all cooked freshly to order, using local products where possible. This includes teas from Taylors of Harrogate, fair-trade coffee, handmade sausages from York market & free range eggs. Naturally, we also cater for those who prefer a lighter option. We have a private car park (please see our policies) Being owned and run by a York family, we know the city well. We are happy to provide information on attractions / entertainment / restaurants & bars etc. to help you make the most of your time in our wonderful city. |
